Pursuant to the Tennessee Court Reporter Act of 2009, all reporters in Tennessee must be licensed in order to practice court reporting, except as required under the law.  The Find a Reporter section on this website is your source to find a licensed court reporter for your next assignment.  To ensure that you have a licensed court reporter in Tennessee, look for the initials "LCR" after a reporter's name.  It is the responsibility of the hiring party to ensure they hire a licensed court reporter when needed.  To verify an active status of a court reporter’s license, you can visit TN Commerce & Insurance Verify
